Positive Client Feedback Following Critical Boiler Works in Healthcare Environment
Here at Newsome, we are pleased to have received positive feedback following the successful completion of planned boiler system works within a busy private healthcare environment. The project involved a carefully coordinated shutdown, drainage and refill operation on the site’s heating system, completed within a strict operational timeframe to minimise disruption to the facility and its day-to-day activities.
Working within healthcare environments always presents unique operational challenges, requiring careful planning, clear communication and efficient execution throughout every stage of the works. Despite difficult conditions and a demanding programme, our engineering team remained focused on delivering the project safely and successfully.
Importantly, the works formed part of the site’s wider Business Continuity Planning strategy for emergency rental support. The project was designed to ensure that the required enabling works and connection interfaces were in place to facilitate rapid deployment of temporary boiler plant in the event of a future system failure.
By preparing the infrastructure in advance, the facility now benefits from a far quicker and more controlled transition to temporary rental boilers should emergency support ever be required. This proactive approach helps minimise operational downtime and provides additional resilience for critical building services within the healthcare environment.
Following completion of the works, the client commented: “All went well yesterday but long day please give credit to the lads who never stopped under challenging circumstances.”
